Expertech chosen by Cornell University to provide thermal processing technology for advanced thin film research and development

Expertech – Expert Semiconductor Technology, Inc, – has been chosen by Cornell University to provide thermal processing technology for advanced thin film research and development. Expertech’s Compact Thermal Reactor will be used for chemical vapor deposition of Aluminum Nitride and other compounds used for research advancement in the area of power electronics.

This advanced reactor will be installed at Cornell’s Ithaca NY campus during the first half of 2016.

Cole Porter, Expertech CTR product manager, says Expertech’s Compact Thermal Reactor (CTR) was chosen by Cornell Ithaca for the CTR’s unique single chamber compact–table-top format that has gained much popularity in university labs throughout the world.

Expertech is a semiconductor equipment manufacturer specializing in horizontal and vertical furnaces used predominantly in semiconductor, MEMS, solar and LED fabrication. Expertech is located in Scotts Valley California and has been providing furnace processing technology for 20+ years.
